This is a Self-hypnosis training tool designed to help you with your sit, get you to a relaxed state and back!  It is designed to take you to your special place of relaxation, where you sit and manifest your dreams.  Build this place like an architect, an engineer, and a builder … piece by piece, step by step … always with more detail.
At the end is a video, In this video is a gift, a tool … that you will be given to eventually instantly transport you to this place of relaxation.  Use this video as a teaching tool … substituting your images, from your special place, whether it be the forest, at a lake, in the mountains, or anywhere in the world, your imagination takes you! As you repeat this, your images will become more detailed, more defined and your special gift will take you there instantly!  Watch it the first time with your eyes open … then each time after with your eyes shut!  SOON YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TRANSPORT YOURSELF TO YOUR MAGICAL PLACE INSTANTLY! 

If there are times you struggle with your focus during your sit … this is a WONDERFUL exercise I have found very helpful.  Bring yourself to a state of mind or trance, marked by a level of awareness different from the ordinary conscious state.  We function in this state all of the time when we are in very deep focus.  It is a brainwave state known as Theta and rests directly on the threshold of your subconscious. Advanced meditators are able to enter the Theta state and maintain it without falling to sleep. Theta meditation lowers blood pressure, releases endorphins, increases creativity and awakens extrasensory perception.
Theta also plays an important part in behavior modification programs.  Because theta brainwave activity induces an “endorphin high”.  Theta is associated with heightened receptivity, it is the ideal state to reprogram your mind with positive thoughts that assist in changing habits and behaviors.

A simple term would be self-hypnosis!

 

SIT AS DIRECTED!

For 15 minutes each day, we are directed to sit and perform an exercise that allows our conscious mind to direct our subconscious mind, giving us access to the limitless power of our 24/7 subconscious mind!

Though this seems a simple exercise, we are required to be in HARMONY with the SEVEN LAWS of the Mind.  When we are, we are granted access to the genius of this WHOLE, PERFECT, STRONG, POWERFUL, LOVING, HARMONIOUS AND HAPPY subconscious dream maker that we carry with us, that’s ready to serve us!!

This can be made more difficult if your Conscious mind refuses to release control and instead acts out, refusing to yield to your Subconscious mind!

The Dreams you want to build, visualize, have insight on, manifest or simply nourish, just do not easily come to the forefront!

Upon examination, it’s easy to identify what might be out of Harmony …  Let’s run down the Seven Laws of the Mind checklist!

LAW OF SUBSTITUTION
We cannot think about 2 things at the same time. If a negative thought enters your mind – try to think about God instead. If that is too big a reach at the time, use any fond memory or other pleasant thought. Jesus, the Master Teacher said, “Resist not evil” – meaning don’t resist it but instead turn from it and think about something else instead.
 I WANT YOUTO BEGIN TO FOCUS ON YOUR PREDETERMINED “SIT” OBJECTIVES!

 

 LAW OF RELAXATION
Mental effort defeats itself – It’s the exact opposite of physical effort. A relaxed, calm state of mind is the only doorway to mental progress. Relaxation of thought is the only access to Infinite Intelligence.
I WANT YOU TO RELAX YOUR MIND WHICH OFTEN REQUIRES RELAXING YOUR BODY FIRST!

 

LAW OF PRACTICE
Practice makes perfect. The 5Ps – Perfect Practice Prevents Poor Performance. Our bewilderment of magnificence in others, upon further inspection we find … as Wooden shares “you’ll find most of it is practice, the rest is work.”   With practice of the correct things, we improve on the other 6 Laws of the mind.
 THIS IS WHY YOU ARE SITTING AND DOING THIS!

 

LAW OF FORGIVENESS
To access the Divine and connect the subconscious to the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Creator we must forgive everyone and anyone to clear the channel. There can be no connection to the Divine mind where anger or resentment against a brother or sister justified or not, exists.
 YOU DO THIS FOR YOURSELF SO THAT THIS ENERGY DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH YOUR ABILITY TO LOVE AND SERVE!

 

LAW OF DUAL THOUGHT
Thought is a combination of ideation and feeling. We can attach any feeling to a thought we want.
THIS IS KEY … YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO LIVE AN INSPIRED LIFE … YOU GET TO LIVE AN INSPIRED LIFE! YOU CHOOSE TO LIVE AN INSPIRED LIFE!
WITH THAT COMES CHANGE AND HAVING THE COURAGE TO CHANGE!
CHANGE REQUIRES HAVING THE COURAGE TO WITHSTAND ANY DISCOMFORT THAT IS A RESULT OF THIS CHANGE.
DISCOMFORT IS GOOD … IT MEANS YOU ARE GROWING AND AS MY WIFE SAYS: “SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP”!

 

LAW OF SUBCONSCIOUS
 As soon as the subconscious accepts an idea it becomes a demand and it works constantly, 24-7, to manifest that demand – accessing a reservoir of infinite resources.
 THIS IS THE POWER YOU WANT TO ACCESS. THIS IS THE POWER YOU WANT WORKING FOR YOU… THIS IS THE POWER THAT I REFERRED TO IN THE BEGINNING!  THE POWER OF YOUR VERY OWN MENTAL DREAM TEAM!

 

LAW OF GROWTH
Whatever we think about grows. What we forget atrophies
BAM!

 

So … IF YOU STILL CAN’T QUITE GET TO WHERE YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BE … IF YOU CAN’T QUITE SLOW YOUR CONSCIOUS MIND … Take yourself directly to your subconscious state!  SEE IF THIS WORKS FOR YOU! 

FIRST READ IT, THEN WATCH IT!

SIT IN YOUR COMFORTABLE PLACE!

Begin to let your body go

Concentrate only on relaxing.

Concentrate only on breathing

 

Breathe in deeply then exhale

That’s Great, and again

Breathe in deeply then exhale

 

Continue this breathing pattern

Just Breathe in deeply then exhale

 

With each breath that you take

You are more relaxed

 

Again Breathe in deeply then exhale

 

The more relaxed you become

the deeper you will breath

the deeper you breathe

the more relaxed you’ll become

 

Breathe in deeply then exhale

 

You will begin to slip into a deep restful state

 

The more you relax

The deeper you’ll go

 

The deeper you go

The more you’ll relax

 

As you feel your eyelids getting heavy,  It’s OK to let them close …

Concentrate on breathing

and relaxing

 

Any noise that you hear will allow you to relax even more and allow go deeper

Just remember,

 

The more you relax

Just Breathe in deeply then exhale

 

Now your sitting in a pitch

black room

Your more relaxed than you have ever been in your life

 

The absence of light is embracing you comforting you in a blanket of security

 

Out in the space in front of you with your mind’s eye

Slowly draw a circle of light

Now draw an A in that circle

AGAIN do it with B, C D, … draw then erase each!

 

Continue to breathe deeply

Continue to relax

 

Again do it with E, F, G draw then erase each!

The more you relax

The deeper you’ll go

The deeper you go

The more you’ll relax

 

Again do it with H, I, J, K draw then erase each!

 

(continue with the alphabet until you feel yourself beginning to mentally relax)

OK! …

 

Look across the dark room you are sitting, into the darkness,  and you will see a faint outline of a 10-step staircase

Now … see yourself rise and Slowly walk toward that staircase and

Slowly begin to climb it

 

As you step onto the first step you see it light up with the number 1

Take a deep breath and exhale fully

 

Now step onto the second step you see it light up with the number 2

again take a deep breath and exhale fully

 

step onto the third step you see it light up with the number 3

With each step that you take

you become more relaxed

The more relaxed you are the deeper you will continue to go

The deeper you go the more relaxed you are

 

step onto the fourth step you see it light up with the number 4

Now continue up the stairs

breathing deeply,

relaxing more and more,

going deeper and deeper

 

UP onto 5, 6, 7

You have never felt so wonderful

 

Up onto 8, 9, 10

You see huge double doors appear just in front of you

You LOOK through the doors and you see the most beautiful relaxing place you have ever seen in your life:

Before you even take a step, you hear the powerful crash of the waves at the beach before you.*

Now WALK out onto a large slate stone patio.

In front of you is the most beautiful beach that you have ever seen.

You instantly smell the fresh ocean air.  You feel it filling your nostrils and lungs.  You both smell and taste the salt.

Your skin feels the moisture in the gentle warm and soothing breeze that seems to go both across your skin and through you. 

 

You instantly feel different, wonderful as the negative ion bath draws every bit of electrostatic tension from your body.

  

Breath … ever so deeply, drawing healing oxygen laden air into your lungs and then out again.  Each breath leaves you more and more refreshed, more and more balanced, more and more at peace, and more and more relaxed.

 

Walk across the patio and onto the sand, toward the water.  Feel your feet plow into the warm sand with its abundance of beautiful shells.

Each step feels like a perfect foot message as the sand pulls across your feet and between your toes.

Each step is like a reflexology foot therapy as your feet arch and flex releasing tension through pressure points felt throughout your entire body.

 

Tension leaves your body like an electrical current flowing and ebbing with each wave that hits the beach riding up toward you powerfully, then after a brief hesitation retreats only to do it again.

 You lose all track of time … 

The sunrise is in full bloom.  A path of light from the sun directly to you dances before you.  An invitation.  It is thick enough to walk across and hold the sun itself.  Soothing light rays gently dance across the surface of the tranquil water as if performing a ballet just for you.

You realize that you are in a cove … your cove … only accessible by you.   In the distance to the left and right, you see purplish cliffs with broadleaf foliage shaping this cove.  Behind you, a beautiful jungle connects the cliffs with a beautiful stone entrance as the only means of entrance or exit.

You hear seagulls and look up to see them flying effortlessly sailing on the warm air swells.

The water hits your feet and is a perfect temperature.   You sit letting it flow across you.  It baths you without even getting you wet.

It’s as if you are sitting in a big comfortable magic chair left there just for you…

 

You are more relaxed than you have ever been.  You feel no tension what so ever and are in perfect harmony.

 

Just continue to breathe deep and cleansing breaths.

 

You will always remember how wonderful you feel.

Similar to your wife and/or sister, Lori, you’ve written a wonderful post! The wealth of information you provided… Oh, my! What follows is essentially the same comment I left Lori.

Have you ever experienced anything comparable to MKMMA?, I know I haven’t! So many powerful concepts to tease the mind, move the body, and arouse the spirit. Well, Jimmie, this terrific post you’ve written has captured so much of all three!

Doesn’t mean that much, until one knows the context. Then we realize it means everything, because it’s the call to take the hero’s journey – the journey to reclaim our authentic self – the part of us that knows why we are here. It’s not to find the meaning of life. It’s to give meaning to life by knowing exactly what we need to be doing to make the most of our unique, magnificent potential to serve others; and in so doing serve ourselves.
