Food Beliefs

I believe that food is our fuel and the quality of our fuel determines our health, wellness and performance.

I believe we should eat consistently with our goals in these areas.

I believe that consuming a healthy diet is a managed plan that if well executed rewards you with improved health, energy, performance, and graceful aging!

I believe that a nutritionally dense eating plan with key elements of Probiotics, prebiotics, chelation with enzymes, high fiber, and seek to get  a proper ratio of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, & Fiber, 60 Essential Micro Nutrients, 11 Amino Acids, 2 Essential Fatty Acids, 13 Vitamins, 21 Minerals, 7 Enzymes, 6 Probiotics.

I believe that consuming these vital nutrients are the key element to getting to and maintaining a healthy weight, having optimal energy and performance, aging gracefully.

I believe that staying fully hydrated requires a deliberate plan until it becomes a habit!

I believe that we are living in a environment where the prevalence of toxins we consume, come in contact with and breath, out weighs the ability of or body to rid itself of toxins and we require a strategy to assist the body in it’s endeavors..

Much like bad relationships, many bad food companies only continue to market and sell what people continue to put up with!

I BELIEVE THAT THAT THE MAJOR SUPPLIERS OF OUR FOOD ARE PUTTING PROFITS BEFORE OUR HEALTH AND USING CHEMICALS AND PRODUCTION PROCESSES THAT CAUSE OBESITY AND SICKNESS.  THEY ARE TARGETING HIGHER YIELDS, FASTER AND CHEAPER MANUFACTURING AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD MORE PROFITABLE.

EXAMPLES:

The use of plastic containers is detrimental to our health as plastics leak into our bodies as well as being detrimental to the environment.

Farm raised fish more toxic, have less omega-3 fats & less protein and are fed unhealthy feed!

Genetically Engineered foods (GMO Foods) cause the animals to suffer maladies (intestinal damage, massive tumors, birth defects, pre mature death, etc.  that are treated with antibiotics and as a result are not a healthy and not good for our health.

Ractopamine-tainted meats (45% pigs, 30% of ration fed cattle) as a muscle enhancer to reduce overall fat content is detrimental to our health.   Ractopamine is linked to effecting the human cardiovascular system, causing hyperactivity, chromosomal abnormalities, and behavioral changes.

Brominated Vegetable oil (BVO) (originally a flame retardant) found in citris flavored sodas and sports drinks has shown to bioaccumulate in human tissue and breast milk.

Processed foods with toxic artificial Food colors and dyes (300 food additives – preservatives, flavorings, colors, other synthetic ingredients are added to foods to make them more attractive, particularly to children.

Arsenic – Laced Chicken …. arsenic based drugs are used in  animal feed because they make animals grow quicker and meat appears pinker and fresher.  As of 2007 70% of broiler chickens ((9 million produced) are being fed Roxarone … an arsenic based drug.

Breads with Potassium Bromate flour are “enriched” to make dough more elastic and better able to stand up tp bread hooks used in manufacturing.  (linked to kidney and nervous system damage, thyroid problems, gastrointestinal discomfort, and cancer)

Olestra/Olean  is a calorie and cholesterol free fat substitute used in fat-free snacks (linked to diarrhea, cramps, leaky bowels, and oily anal leakage + depletion of fat soluble vitamins such as A,D,E and K.)

Preservatives BHA & BHT … BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) and BHT (butylated hydroxytpluene are toxic preservatives used in beer, breakfast cerials, nut mixes, chewing gum, butter spread, meats and dehydrated potatoes can trigger allergic reactions and hyperactivity while BHT can cause organ system toxicity.

Milk and dairy products laced with rBGH … the synthetic version of natural bovine somatotropin (BST) a hormone produced in cows pituitary glands to increase milk production.  1 in 6 cows in US dairies are repeatedly injected with growth hormones.  rBGH-injected cows suffer at least 16 different adverse health conditionsa that must be treated with antibiotics.  Risks of rGBH exposure include colorectal, prostrate and breast cancer.

Industrial or Factory farming practices and producing food the is of little nutritional value and full of toxins which cause us to be unhealthy and leads to obesity.

Companies repeatedly use healthy terms to describe food make with unhealthy processed to fool consumers on toxic foods.

Food companies us addictive food ingredients similar to opiates, cocaine, heroin to encourage repeat business such as sugar, salt, MSG, Added Casein, Fat, High fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, caffeine, etc.

The 10 companies that produce 90% of our food put profits before our health!

Food addictions … often created food addictions is a severe issues in the US.

The human body is basically a donut that we pass food through hoping to get the nutrients that we require as well as absorbs a process any chemical that we come in contact with or breath in.  It also functions as a filter absorbing all the good stuff and unfortunately all the bad stuff and must process these toxins out … the body is a food processer that breaks solids & liquids consumed, absorbed through our skin, and breathed into our lungs and breaks them down into chemicals that can be utilized or processed out!

IN ADDITION … SOME PEOPLE HAVE DYSFUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH FOOD.

  • People who are lacking vital nutrients are extremely uncomfortable.
  • People use food to manage stress (elevated brain activity that prevents rest).
  • People use food to comfort themselves.
  • People medicate themselves with food.
  • People use food recreationally instead of engaging in other activities.
  • People eat out of boredom.
  • People with hormonal issues feel out of control and use food as a stop gap.
